Function Generator

Here is a project for a function generator with the popular IC XR2206



The function generator can generate Square, TTL, Sine and Triangle waveforms from 1Hz to ~1Mhz with Voltage regulation to Square Sine and Triangle waveforms.

Function Generator

Because i need this for a specific purpose, i first made it at the breadboard, so that to be sure that its suitable, after that i did it on a pcb

Frequency Range, which can be selected third range are.
1. 1-100 Hz
2. 100-10,000 Hz
3. 10,000-1,000,000 Hz

i place it in a wooden box but dressed by papers of aluminium

Here is the 5-pole switch ,but i use only three poles, aw i said before it’s for changing the scales

1. 1-100 Hz
2. 100-10,000 Hz
3. 10,000-1,000,000 Hz

Next step is the panel. I could use a computer to do it ,but my computer doesn’t work then,so i made the measures by hand (toooo much waste of time!)

Start placing the stuff. You can see two filters there,one from a computer supply and the other …(i don’t remember)

I made some improvements because i don’t like the result of the wave forms ,i replace the transformer and i insulate the 5-pole switch
