Here i have made an electric desoldering iron tool using a 12V pump
No , it is not the black box of an airplane ,it is a wooden box painted black. You can buy an Electronic Desoldering Pump and a pump 12V and do the same as below. It works 100% ,but it would be better to add some solder on the pin when desoldering a component ,because if it is soldered a long time ago it may be o little harder to desolder it.
First of all ,i use a (very)small wooden box and i place inside the transformer. It is 12VAC 30VA
I use some soft and protective pad to absorb the shock of the pumper, it is important because all vibration from the pumper are absorbed and it is more stable.
Next photo you can see the pumper and the recifier bridge with the smoothing capacitor.
Capacitor is 4700μF and rectifier is 4A
Now i will bolt the pumper. I will use rubber washer on the handle so that reduce and here vibrations
It is a good idea to add some super lite z-lock on the worm so that avoid tire out
And i place all the stuff in the box
I am going to use an extra filter for fumes in the box. 
As you may see, it is from motorcycle
Because current for the pumper is 700mA and the the
small switch is not suitable to for so much current ,
i must use a 12V relay
Almost done, i make all wire connections and i use everywhere thermal tube and take care on 230V connections!
I will dissaseble the soldering iron and place a cardinal filter . It is an aquarium filter .
The filter need to be cleaned very often, because will stuff the tube and will not be effective the pump
Again here the tube is from an aquarium and it fits perfect
The yellow and green cable is the small switch that operate
the relay.
Relay need 44mA to operate.Do not use the swtch without relay!
And a future use here! I cut of the tube, because in the future i will use the pumper and for the vacuum pick up tool
